Nihad Alihodzic is from Bosnia and Herzegovina where he worked with the local UN Mission and its International Police Task Force. In 2002, he worked as an assistant on the Milosevic case and many more at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. He later joined the Declarations Branch of the OPCW and went on to become its Head. Since the beginning of Syria-related activities, Mr Alihodzic was actively involved as one of the core OPCW staff. Since 2014, he is in charge of the Declarations Assessment Team, which has been a key segment of the OPCW’s involvement with Syrian Chemical Weapons programme and its ongoing work.
